Waternet

We brought structure and uniformity to Waternet’s corporate identity, resulting in a consistent brand image and savings in the area of labour.

Sustainable and CSR-proof

Waternet is the Netherlands’ first water-cycle company. It was created in 2006 out of the organisations Waterleidingbedrijf Amsterdam and Dienst Waterbeheer en Riolering.

Waternet’s corporate identity was developed two years ago over a very short period of time. This meant that it had not been worked out sufficiently and embedded adequately within the organisation, as a result of which Waternet lacked control over it.

Our task was to advise on how Waternet could bring greater order to its visual identity, two years on from its implementation.

Structure leads to savings

We took stock of the organisation’s visual image at that time and the underlying processes. It emerged that its corporate identity was being used in various ways, there was a lack of clarity about guidelines and the organisation was having to devote an unnecessarily large number of hours to this (internally and externally). We translated our findings into an action plan, ensured that the corporate identity was implemented consistently and designed a brand portal. As a direct consequence of these measures, Waternet is making substantial savings in terms of both internal and external hours.

We are extremely satisfied. Thanks to NykampNyboer our corporate identity is now in good shape, and will continue to be so in the future.
