NS Hispeed

With a 'big bang' approach, we transformed NS Hispeed’s corporate identity in just one day. This was made possible thanks in particular to our close collaboration with the internal departments within NS.

International ambition

NS Hispeed is the new name of NS Internationaal. This is NS’s high-speed brand with destinations throughout Europe. With this new name and corporate identity the organisation is underlining its international character.

Our task was to take care of the rebranding from NS Internationaal to NS Hispeed – in just one day.

Undertaking such a transformation in just one day is an ambitious goal, but we carried it off with great success. We had faced such a challenge on numerous occasions in the past and were able to draw on this experience for NS Hispeed.

Organisation behind the scenes

Our activities focused on printed matter for correspondence and communication, interior and exterior elements of, for example, the Tickets and Service offices, as well as ICT and system communications, such as the screens of the ticket machines.

Following careful preparation in close collaboration with NS employees, on 6 December 2008 all of the organisation’s corporate identity elements were replaced in a single day. The complexity of the rebranding lay in the organisational aspect. NS covers a wide geographic area, which meant that we had to work together with numerous departments both inside and outside NS. The challenge was to get everyone using the same channels for information and communication to make sure that the project could be completed on schedule. We are proud that we were able to meet this challenge successfully for NS Hispeed.
