Bouwinvest

We supported Bouwinvest with the introduction of a new corporate identity. The project fitted in seamlessly with Bouwinvest’s social commitment, as old brand carriers were donated to Kenyan schoolchildren.

Broader service

Bouwinvest is one of the largest independent real estate investment managers in the Netherlands. In 2010 the organisation – previously BPF Bouwinvest – implemented a change in strategy and also began offering real estate funds to other institutional investors.

This change of course and name went hand in hand with a desire to develop a new corporate identity too. Bouwinvest’s brand values (reliable, committed, passionate and innovative), supplemented with a fifth overarching aspect ‘continuity’, occupied a central position in the development of the new identity and form the basis for the organisation’s communication. Design agency viervier took care of the creative component.

Surprising transformation

We supported the implementation of the new corporate identity, from the permit application for the façade signage through to the development of the templates for Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. As part of this new visual identity, the printed matter, façade signage, templates, signposting, flags and banners, amongst other things, were all adapted.

The new corporate identity was presented during the annual real estate trade fair De Provada. Business contacts were invited to Bouwinvest’s office in the morning, from where they set off for the RAI to attend the fair. While the fair was in full swing, the office was transformed. The illuminated advertising, flags and banners, signposting and printed matter in the office were all replaced with the new corporate identity. When the guests returned to the office from De Provada, the transformation to the new corporate identity was there to be seen in its entirety.

Tools for schools

Corporate social responsibility is something that is very important to Bouwinvest. Making good use of its old brand carriers is inextricably linked with this strategy. Through the alliance that NykampNyboer has with the Kiwanis and Dorcas foundations, resources bearing the old logo, such as headed paper, notepads, pens and bags, were given a new lease of life in schools in Kenya, via the ‘Tools for Schools’ project.

The success of a new corporate identity lies to a large extent in its concrete incorporation into materials and its implementation within the organisation. NykampNyboer played a crucial role here for Bouwinvest. An exceptionally alert and dynamic ‘front man’ in our organisation, with a number of experts in various sub-areas as back-up. I would call on them again.
