In 2011 DSM changed their identity to express a major shift in its strategy from being a chemicals company to a materials and life sciences player. NykampNyboer implemented, as one of the VIM Group members, the new brand identity.

The new brand and the pay off ‘Bright science. Brighter living.’ is symbolic of the company's transition to ‘the new DSM’.
We were appointed to assess and improve rebranding budgets, to check feasibility of roll-out scenarios, and to prepare and manage the roll-out of signage and way finding, business cards and uniforms across DSM’s facilities and employees worldwide. Besides, we were appointed to manage the selection and implementation of a new brand portal and correspondence system.
By using our professional expertise and extensive market knowledge, and by applying our ‘global for local’ approach, we have been able to support DSM on implementing their rebranded assets in a cost efficient and brand consistent way, whilst improving business processes to achieve significant cost savings.
