Univé-VGZ-IZA-Trias (UVIT) has revamped the identity of its VGZ health insurance brand. Besides a new logo and brand identity, it also has a new slogan: ‘Voor goede zorg zorg je samen’ [Good healthcare is achieved together].

NykampNyboer supported the rebranding of VGZ, both in the strategic phase and during the implementation of the corporate identity. Positioning experts ‘De Positioneerders’ were involved in the positioning. The new logo, designed by Teldesign, is in the shape of a flower with an eye-catching shoot sprouting from the letter G.
These are both symbols of growth and development. The petals of the flower symbolise the collaboration between insured parties, healthcare providers and VGZ.
The Univé-VGZ-IZA-Trias group is continuing as Univé for non-life insurance and Coöperatie VGZ for health insurance. The latter comprises the following brands: VGZ, Univé Zorg, IZZ, IZA, UMC and Zekur. The Trias and SIZ brands are being discontinued and, with effect from 1 January 2012, will be absorbed into the VGZ brand, which is today presenting its new logo. VGZ has around 2.2 million health insurance policyholders.
